Having bought music from the Sonic Cathedral label via Bandcamp, I receive their newsletter (I can unsubscribe, I know... but what if they come up with something BITCHEN?). So this band Spectres, who I've never heard, maybe they're good, perhaps they're ass, right now they just look like bearded bozos to me (LOSE THE UGLY FUCKING BEARDS, PEOPLE!) have recently released a critically acclaimed album and they decided to distribute the following official photo:
Which is why this post is in this section, just in case you were wondering.

I saw them in my home town of Stowmarket and liked them a lot. Good band as far as I'm concerned. I think I shared my recording on my blog... I see no problem here...
(I also have a beard so watch out ) |

Alright, more power to 'em, then. The mutant Goo T-shirts, I'm still not crazy about; they're not as ubiquitous as Ramones tees yet, but they're getting there... Quote:
There are beards, and then there are ugly-as-all-sin beards. Since I like you, I'm simply gonna assume yours is not the latter kind.

At least one of them works in a record shop in Bristol, legit massive SY fan. Had a nice chat with him trying to get him to check some of Lee's solo stuff (pre-SY break up, so East Jesus etc etc). Caught them live once, pretty solid SYish skronky stuff. Heard the early singles but neither of the LPs.
