If you read my previous posts, I am explaining that the 100% true form of counterculturalism will not cause a revolution. The cleanest way of creating a revolution would be not by rebelling against society, but by working alongside people in society.

People have personal opinions
Those personal opinions affect their social/ political preferences
Social industries are comprised of these people
This so called "machine" is comprised of social industries

By co-operating within the system you can change the personal opinions that will affect everything else up the ladder.

Personally I like Marcuse's idea of revolution. Everything would be dependant on machinery and we would be able to have fun, and there will be no such thing as property value. The only thing is that it would take a very long time before technology gets that advanced, and how would we get resources?

What is a '100% true form of countereculturalism'?

Couldn't Lenin, Mao, or even Oliver Cromwell be seen as figures that completely countered the culture of their day in such a way that caused a revolution?

It would be completely seperating yourself from the culture. Amish. It's the only way not to experience "the system" whatsoever. Either that or death. The people you mentioned would still be countering the system, but are still experiencing it.
