The very end of Brown Sugar, right after the band stops, you can hear someone in the background as the track fades go, "Yeeah..." I always thought it was Keef.

Nick Cave's yells on 'Release the bats'.
The beginning of Warsaw where Ian goes like '3,5,0,1,2,5, GO!'. All of New Dawn Fades really but I really love this part: We'll share a drink and step outside, An angry voice and one who cried, 'We'll give you everything and more, The strain's too much, can't take much more.' Oh, I've walked on water, run through fire, Can't seem to feel it anymore. Actually, all of Unknown Pleasures is filled with my favourite moments.

Cap'n Jazz made me think that maybe the advent of recording equipment was a bad thing.

I am not positive... I read this as you don't like Cap'n Jazz? Personally, I think they were one of the greatest things to happen to music. More specifically, the Kinsella brothers are one of the greatest.......... Everything related (direct or indirect) to them is incredible... Cap'n Jazz, American Football*, Joan of Arc, Owls, Owen, Firebird Band, The Promise Ring**.... etcetera... I'm not trying to namedrop, they are all incredible bands... * Every single moment on American Football's full-length is worthy of "best moments ever".. ** "Delaware, are you aware of Air Supply and Television? Delaware, are you aware? is this thing on?"

You read correctly. That whole scene's music irritated me like few could before or since. I certainly know a lot of people who feel as you do, though. Just a taste issue. |

The last minute of Malice Mizer's Bel Air, with the 3/4 drum beat, that bass line, the twin lead guitars, and then another guitar comes over the top and plays a solo and then the voice that goes "ooohhh, ohhhh, oh, oh, hoo, hoo."
The bit in You Were Holding an Umbrella by Boris when, after it's been mellow and quiet, it sounds as if the guitarist (I don't know if it's Wata or Michio Kurihara) turns their amplifier on.

In the middle of Miles Davis' solo on My Funny Valentine 1964 live at Carnegie Hall where someone from the audience decides to scream "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Seriously, the crowd is hushed as Herbie and Miles exchange ideas, and then from the silence... "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" hahahahaha |

There are so many moments like that on Sister. Outro to Catholic block, bridge of Kotton Krown, the release after the buildup of schizophrenia, the climax of stereo sanctity, but PCH trumps it all. "FUCK YOU LONDON YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF" and "k-k-k-kick it!" |
