Why do some writers have to fuck up a simple thing like an "interview" by paraphrasing, editing, and putting things in their own context just to make a name for themselves?

an interview is an interview.

just ask the questions and replies. all the other bullshit could do without.

it is the reason why a "good" documentary is so few and far between...directors always wanna put their fucking mark on something. just tell the fucking facts, man. is it really that hard. anyways. but that's just me.
