When I went there a few months ago the shop was quite busy and they had a lot of records worth going through. I thought the V-3 record stood out because the section I was checking or the shop in general didn't have any similar music in stock. When I went to pay for some records I bought I was chatting to the guy who runs the shop about music and I was telling him it was good for them to have it in the shop because it's not common to come by. He mentioned something about trying to have more stuff like it on sale in the future even though I didn't get the impression he knew the record or had any interest in anything that sounded like it.

Reckless records in Soho is one of my favourite record shops in London these days. Great choice of records that seem to have been put on sale by someone who listened to music after The Smiths and Baggy in the 90s. On the other hand, Sister Ray across the road is a dump. Overpriced stock and poor selection across the genres.

Yeah Sister Ray is crap, and from what i remember were never that much cop from when i became first aware of it. When they took over Selectadisc i knew it was going to go downhill.

Yes. Tiny but good, maybe a little pricey, but then again I'm a cheap-skate.

Flashback on Bethnal Green Road still has a copy of the Dragonfly (Lying on the Floor)/Blues Tune 7'' by Bardo Pond with the sleeve falling apart for the same £4.99 price tag since last summer. About time they sort out the prices of some of the stock in order to reflect the condition of the records. They also need to get rid of that stupid ''party vinyl'' section with Mel & Kim singles etc.

Selectadisc/Sister Ray have never been much cop.
There is a new one near me called Eel Pie Records - http://www.eelpierecords.com/ Its 90 percent "new vinyl" releases, but they do have a small second hand section
