Was it mailed recently, or has it been stuck in the post for ages?

Wahey! I have the copy that I ordered from Nihilist, at last!
Unfortunately this means that I have two copies now, as I had given up on Nihilist and ordered it elsewhere. If anyone in Europe wants a copy for £13 (which is what I paid) + postage (it's £16 + postage at Secondlayer and Volcanic Tongue), PM me and we'll see what we can sort out. |

picked this shit up at the Second Layer record store in London as well as clutch of other outre wax. my friend left me in that joint for an hour like "a kid in a candy store."
anyway, holy shit, the heaviosity explored in Thurston's recent cassette releases takes on an almost power-electronics bent... hellishly deranged... parts of it actually sound like a shrill dentist drill.. extremely impressive level of fervour, hard to believe it was achieved using a guitar... so glad Toxic J recommended that I track it down the day before I hit Second Layer.. |
