I love this band.I saw them live last week and they were STILL loud as fuck They were the one of the first and best in that line of bands in the punk/acid rock bands of the 60s. They preceded both the MC5 and the stooges records.Their end song "second time around" has a crazy ending like funhouse but 2 yrs before funhouse came out. They had a hit with a punked up heavy version of "summertime blues".

Vincebus Eruptum is their best record with "doctor please", "out of focus", "parchment farm" and "second time around". Their songs all come off really intense and powerful. The second lp InsideOutside has some great songs too like "gyspy ball","come and get it", "sun cycle" just a little bit. The 2nd lp has more of a psychedelic slant to it. Are there any fans on the board, I never hear them discussed but they were definetly a seminal band.

Errrm...you forgot that Vincebus Eruptum also has their cover of Summertime Blues on it which is massive.
