I was on 76th and 2nd ave when it happened, but nobody there was even mentioning it. My good friend from back home called me and told me about it. It totally fucked up my evening because the trains back to the hostel I'm staying at stopped running. booooo! Hisssss!!! Drunk!!

Well the Situationists said something along the lines that society would get so boring that they only stimulation left would be to destroy it, I think they hoped for revolution but I think all we get is narcissistic anger, and the resulting apocalypse movies and pseudo-religions.

this is weird, check the original post date...apologies to Moshe though I think his govt is as out of control as ours and neither represent the citizens...as a disclaimer I just offer this as something weird, not that I'm asserting the truth of it (but its probably 100% accurate!)
