What kind of film do you use? I have a Canon eos-3 and want to explore outside the tri-x films. Also I want to start taking color photographs, so can anyone give me tips on which films I should try?

my standard black and white film is t-max 400. since kodak stopped making t-max 3200, i'm still trying to decide between fuji neopan 1600 and ilford delta 3200 for my high-speed needs. i never really did a lot of color, and do even less know that i've got a digital slr. i've tried all kinds of color film, but i just don't use it often enough to have a favorite.... i just shot a roll of kodak gold i bought at a gas station (the guy dug around under the counter for a while to find it), i'm kinda curious if it came out any worse than stuff i shot on kodak portra fresh out of the fridge at the pro shop.

(edit: kodak still makes t-max 3200, but the shop near where i live no longer carries it. kodak has discontiued their technical pan film - ultra high resolution 25 iso film)

I prefer Kodak's warm colours. Agfa and Fuji are way too greenish.

Kodak for colour and Ilford for BW.
But it really depends on which "kind" of photography you think you'll work with (light, environment, and other stuff obviously influence the choice).
edit: hey, I'm not a "photographer" so don't take my words for gold.
