Just wanted to drop everyone a quick reminder of our December sales as
well as fill people in on a small unexpected restock of TLR-014.

--TWO DIFFERENT DECEMBER SALES - MODERN CONTAINMENT SETS AND (MOST)
ALL OTHER CDS--

As a prelude to the holidays, we are running a sale for the month of
December on complete sets of the "Modern Containment" CD series. Do
you need to give someone the gift of out music? Maybe you need to
give yourself that gift instead. Either way, this series contains
exclusive material discs from Bardo Pond, Matt Valentine + Erika Elder
with the Bummer Road, Mirror/Dash, Wooden Wand and the Omen Bones
Band, Sunburned Hand of the Man, Hush Arbors, Sun City Girls, Kinski
and Mouthus and a nifty silkscreened slipcase by Bardo Pond's John
Gibbons to hold all of the tunes. Regularly $75, for the month of
December we are putting what remaining stock we have on these sets on
sale for $63 postpaid for US delivery (add $6 for shipping to Canada/
Mexico, add $10 for shipping anywhere else in the world). At $7 per
disc we beg to say you will have a hard time finding more of a quality
bang for your musical buck elsewhere.

Our other sale is a little simpler - all in-stock CDs (with the
exception of our mild re-stock of TLR-014) are on sale for the month
of December for $5 each when ordered in conjunction with any vinyl
order (postpaid in the US as well as all other locations - no
additional postage needed to add CDs to your vinyl orders). This
applies to any CD title in stock and any vinyl order.

Both sales end at the close of December 31.

--UNEXPECTED WWVV RESTOCK--

We received a small and totally unexpected return of seven (7) copies
of the long out of print TLR-014, Wooden Wand and the Vanishing
Voice's "l'un marquer contre la moissonneuse" CD. Available on a
first-come, first-served basis, this small stock is $10ppd in the US,
$11.50 to Canada/Mexico and $12.50 to all other locations. Drop a
line if you're in need.

--OSCILLATION III - CD SERIES DETAILS--

A couple of updates back we brought word to you all regarding our
upcoming CD subscription series titled "Oscillation III." As a
reminder, the lineup for this new series is (in alphabetical order) -

Similar to our two previous CD series, this one will come with a
silkscreened slipcase to hold the discs. This slipcase for this
particular series will boast new original art by Robert Beatty (Hair
Police as well as the artist of the killer front cover to our recent
Hassara CD release). As with our two previous series, the series discs
will not be available separately from Three Lobed. As an added bonus,
subscribers to "Oscillation III" will also receive at no additional
cost a new and as-of-yet untitled CD (TLR-055) from the ever-potent
Vanishing Voice.

We are going to open up subscriptions for this beast on January 1,
2008 - we'll send another update out when everything is ready to
roll. Subscriptions will be $80 postpaid for subscriptions shipping
to US addresses ($86 postpaid for subscriptions shipping to Canada or
Mexico, $92 postpaid for subscriptions shipping to all other
destinations). Three Lobed will have a strict limit of 550 complete
subscriptions available. We currently anticipate shipping this series
over two mailings, one at some point in February and another at some
point in March. From what we have heard of the submissions so far,
this one is going to be one killer ride. Also, for additional details

--GOWN LP PRE-ORDER--

All of the parts are headed where they needed to be headed and we're
ready to open up the pre-order on TLR-058, "For the Maples" by Gown.
Gown (aka Andrew MacGregor and otherwise known as one-half of the Bark
Haze with Thurston Moore) moved from western Massachusetts to Nova
Scotia earlier in the year.

Before he moved, he wanted to have one big audio blow-out to remember
the grand old MA times. With that goal in mind, Gown went into the
studio with the Sunburned Hand of the Man gang (represented this time
out by John Moloney, Sarah O'Shea, Ron Schneiderman and Taylor
Richardson) to melt some audio consoles. "For the Maples" represents
a portion of that recorded output and believe us, it's some massive
stuff. Sunburned's thick funk presents the perfect background for
Gown's shredding guitar-play. Extremely hot stuff, especially the
massive side-long "Bending Close." There is a mp3 sample, "Taylor's
Jam," up on the "catalog" section of the Three Lobed page.

As per the Three Lobed standard, "For the Maples" is pressed on 180g
RTI vinyl. It will be housed within silkscreened jackets (screen work
by Alan Sherry / SIWA) bearing new artwork by Gown. The record will
be from an edition of approximately 750 copies and, similar to the
Basalt Fingers LP and as an added convenience for our vinyl friends,
will come packaged with a glass-mastered CD (not CD-R) of the material
present on the wax. Pre-orders will also be accompanied by a bonus CD
(TLR-059) of previously unreleased Gown material. As with prior Three
Lobed pre-orders, the bonus disc is not available separately for sale
and will not be for sale after the pre-order period ends on January
15, 2008. We currently anticipate shipping this record in mid-
January.

"For the Maples" costs $20 for postpaid delivery via USPS media mail
for domestic delivery. For additional shipping options, including
international delivery, please consult the "catalog" section of the
Three Lobed site.

--ONE OF A KIND THREE LOBED ITEM--

Folks seemed to be interested in the past when we've offered a few
copies of test pressings of Three Lobed vinyl releases. Here's your
shot at one new one. Straight from the Three Lobed personal archives,
we have exactly one (1) copy of:

TLR-058 - Gown "For the Maples"

This records is a sealed test pressing copy - only twenty-five (!)
copies exist in test pressing form. Want a rare version of these
releases in your collection? Here's your chance! This record is
available for $25. This price is *not* postpaid - buyers can ship by
domestic media mail for $3.00 or priority for $7.50. International
shipping is $12.50 for USPS international first class to any non-North
American location ($8.50 to Canada / Mexico). Obviously, this is
available on a first-come, first served basis. Test pressing buyers
get to pick one in-stock CD (other than the small restock of TLR-014)
as a freebie added to your order at no additional cost.
