theyre one of the most loved of all the noise rock "load" bands id say. but yeah, theyre fuckin great, like a more spastic teenage jesus with free jazz instrumentation and tons tons of volume. one of the best live bands you could ever see. i think fright makes right is their best record.

yeah ive been wondering about the break up thing too. but id say yellow swans, prurient, brainbombs, metalux, the hospitals, usaisamonster, whitemice, pink and brown, i mean lots of bands have released great fuckin records on load this decade. ive never understood what people have against load. maybe its mias because i used to live to so close to providence and the whole fort thunder scene, but i love load.

yeah Fright Makes Right is the only one I have too. If they're not around anymore, it's a shame, although a friend of mine ran into one of them not that long ago (a couple of weeks) and said they were thinking about playing some shows.
Whether that's something definitely happening or not I dunno, just reporting what I heard. |

i thought jail and another one had a huge fight about last year and then they just simply fell apart mid tour. so the reports on their myspace page said.... it was all a bit dodgy and they have been very quiet since last summer but if they are getting back together again then thats excellent news indeed because they promised me an irish show next time they were in the uk......
we need more coughs records now! |

i read it, you said somethin like "we all wish our favorite bands could be happy, or at least keep the tension low enough to still use the tension and make great record and avoid breaking up!" or somethin like that. i love that dude who plays saxophone for coughs, he sounds like james chance. in fact, the coughs kinda remind me of an updated and more extreme version of the contortions with a female singer (who sounds like lydia, hah!) come to think of it...
