i was gonna buy nouns the other day, but leanord cohen's death of a ladies man was 4 bucks, so i got thar cuz its my second favorite leanord record, i also got the today is the day reissues. i guess i shoulda got nouns, eh?

I just heard the album now, it's very meh.
They sound like a more fuzzy version of The Strokes, that's what they sound like. |

i saw them last week, i can't really remember too much about them other than i liked them more live than i expexcted to after having heard the stuff on their myspace, but still, i thought at the time that there was nothing particularly distinctive about them, and lo and behold a week later and i'm hard pressed to recall anything about their music.

i'll skip their gig then.
I had a bit of a similar feeling about health when i saw them this weekend. they weren't bad and some songs i enjoyed quite a bit, but i just felt that something was lacking in their overall performance. |

times new viking also played and they were good, jay reatard played and he was like the libertines on speed, soiled matress & the springs played and they sound like twee jazz

I still don't really understand all the hype. Its got some ok riffs. Its alright. Sounds like pretty average rock to me.
