An esteemed member of this board is in dire straits. He's been diagnosed with cancer and since his country's health care is less than stellar (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_..._United_States) his medical bills (tests, chemotherapy, etcetera) are staggering. All this is not helped by the fact that he's simply too sick at the moment to work....
So I'm my doing my (admittedly small) bit by auctioning off my copy of Melbourne Direct. Rules of the road: - Post your maximum bid here (preferably), PM me or email me. - Payment will be to said member directly by PayPal (preferred) or money order. People in Europe can also use IBAN/SWIFT to pay me, in which case I'll forward the money to him. - Serious bids only please, don't waste my (and other people's) time. I've seen this go for around $70 on eBay so if bids remain low I'll cancel the auction here and will go there. - I'll swallow priority airmail to anywhere, and will throw in lots of freebies. If the winning bid goes higher than $100 the winning bidder will also receive the Demonlover CD, and if the winning bid goes beyond $140 I'll also include a *sealed* copy of the Text Of Light 3CD Metal Box. If you already have either of these I'd be happy to offer substitute(s) - I have tons of Sonic Youth, Ranaldo, Moore and Branca (and other) CDs lying around the house. - Vinyl junkies please note: if you want your records mint this auction is not for you. The vinyl is mint (it's never been played), but there's a 2.5" (6 cm.) tear at the top edge of the sleeve, and the lower left corner is slightly bent. Pics available at http://www.rappard.dds.nl. - Deadline for bids is Sunday June 15th, midnight (GMT). |

I would make a bid, but not without seeing what the damage looks like.

I would like to pay 50 dollars, through Paypal or banktransfer. But yes, I'm also interested in seeing of photo of the damaged sleeve.

Item has been sold!
Also, a MASSIVE thanks to the board member who (upon hearing of NN's plight) donated $50 - thanks again, you know who you are. |
