The long-in-gestation Melvins remix album, announced as far back as 2006, will finally see the light of day this year. Entitled Chicken Switch, the album sees a host of avant-garde and experimental artists re-interpreting Melvins tracks, with the record expected in late September/early October via Ipecac.

What is up with all of the Melvins talk today? I have had this melvins addiction for months now. I cannot bring myself to stop playing "Nude with Boots".
It's time for them to get some pay off for all these years of making the craziest yet melodic music I have had the pleasure of listening to.
