Thurston and Steve mount themselves on a see-saw and throw fireworks at each other. Kim and Lee ride tricycles rigged with metal dragging behind nearby. They eventually run over rusty nails and glass and get really scrapped up, as you'll hear in the tones of the moaning. Jim O'Rourke is nowhere to be found, probably directing a japanese film elsewhere. All of this is recorded with layers of ice cream truck songs placed all over. The recording is then reversed, slowed down to half speed and delayed to no end. Mark Ibold's face is on the sticker on the protective wrapping of the album.
Everyone is happy.

OK, the question should be now- how would you like your syr7 and syr8.
My uninformed guess is that one of them will feature J'accuse Ted Hughes and the other one will be a Morente/Watt/Shelly recording. |
