Up to but most definitely not including Dark Side Of The Moon, some of my favorite music ever. From Dark Side on, they are dead to me.

I love Syd Barrett but Roger Waters is one of my heros! Pink Floyd is one of my all time favourite bands
1) Dark Side of the Moon 2) Wish You Were Here 3) Animals (incredably underated) 4) Piper at the Gates of Dawn 5) The Wall (although the concept is so breathtaking, Orwell would have killed for it, it doesn't do much for me musically)

Yes- but only the Waters and Barret stuff.
I love Dark Side of the Moon. One of the most coherent albums ever made. The wall is great with the whole concept as Washing Machine said- but I feel that it could have been much more coherent in the way that Dark Side was. |

Up to Dark Side Of The Moon they remain invincible.

Yeah for Me Dark Side and Daydream Nation are 2 of the most cohesive records ever made. Its one of those rare records in popular music that sounds like a 'piece' in the same way a Concerto or a Symphony does, as opposed to a collection of separate pieces. The Songs on Dark Side are more movements than songs. Thats the genius of Roger Waters era Pink Floyd. Its incredable that Syd (as much as i adore his work) got to become such an icon among the indie kids for being shambolic and Waters and co got slack for working their arses off for months in the studio, producing a wonderfully complex and beautiful piece and deservingly becoming very successful. Its something i've never quite gotten about hipsters actually.....

I love Pink Floyd, they are fantastic. Wish you were Here is my favorite, followed by Dark Side of the Moon and Atom Heart Mother. Atom Heart Mother isn't that great but I love the title track. What is Saucerful of Secrets like?
Too bad they'll never tour again because Waters and Gilmour are such egomaniac pretentious british fucks |

Haha! I was just reminded of the time I got Ummagumma for Christmas and I expected it to sound just like Dark Side. I fuckin hated it. I like it now though
