I'm shocked at how good those two early 70s albums are, and how they were almost universally overlooked for decades. He reminds me of a kinder, gentler Dylan circa Blood On The Tracks.

Am I the only one here feeling the love for The Sugar Man?

I had to watch that documentary three times in two days for work, and it stood up to the intensive viewing, his music is too dylany for me though, although I think some of his lyrics are great.

more than dylan he reminds me of that croce guy from the same era, with an occasional latin touch (one of his songs is even a bolero if i'm not wrong, and another features santana-like guitars)
