Sonic Youth are amongst the guest collaborators on the latest album from Future pilot AKA, 'Secrets From The Clockhouse.'
The 16-tracked album due out on February 5, also features the talents of Belle & Sebastian, Can, Stooges, The Go-Betweens and karine Polwart. 'Secrets From The Clockhouse', is the fourth album conceived, written and produced by Sushil K Dade and is the follow up to 2004's 'Salute Your Soul' which also featured an eclectic range of artists. http://www.uncut.co.uk/news/uncut/news/9246 |

New Future Pilot AKA album released on 5th February 2007 'Secrets From the Clockhouse' will be available on Creeping Bent Records on January 22nd.The album is available to be downloaded from several sites (including Rough Trade Digital). The long player features collaborations and contributions from members of The Go-Betweens (Robert Forster and the late great Grant McLennan) , Sonic Youth (Thurston Moore/Kim Gordon) , The Fire Engines (Davy Henderson), Can (Damo Suzuki) , The Minutemen/Stooges (Mike Watt) & Unkle Bob as well as featuring Scottish illustrator/novelist Alasdair Gray, early music group Concerto Caledonia, and folk singer Karine Polwart. Liner notes are written by musician and composer Gavin Bryars. |
