it would be really creepy if you had no blinds or curtains on any of the windows in your house. someone could be walking on the street and watching you sleep. yes i close my blinds.

Ya I know how you feel. There's always construction going on next door, and my window faces the side yard between us. There's a fence but I always felt uneasy about it. I open them now during the day when I'm in the room, but always close them at night. You know, they can see you but you can't see them. I've also started opening the window on nice days when I'm reading. Never knew what a luxury that was. Natural light and air are amazing...

I keep my blinds shut, but a few of them broke off at the ends and now I spy on people through that hole.

This definately depends on where you live. I lived in a college town in an apartment complex with A-Z buildings, each with 16 units. I left my sliding glass door blinds open one night and next thing I knew a cop came knocking at 1am telling me some creepy guys were standing in front of my window!!! I was pregnant at the time and this really freaked me out!
We now live in a house that is on a private road so I leave the blinds open in the back yard. |

i never keep my blinds open. my apartment is a heat trap, so i try and keep as much sun out of the rooms as possible.

I always keep them closed. I hate having to open them in the morning, then close them to get changed after work, then opening them again. They also make a glare on my monitor.

all open, all the time. WIndow often open too. I welcome and have intrigue on the issue of random sexual encounters. Just no guys. Unless there's like 3 girls per guy... but I don't think there's going to be that many people coming thru my window.

jesus no. i'm a total vampire -- half the time i'm tempted to leave the suckers closed in broad daylight. i'm not quite as bad with that as i used to be though.
