yr there, so you know a lot more than I. I love The Game personally. And of the remnants of the Row... Snoop, Kurupt, Quik, Dre... I'm not a huge fan of the Bay Area shit myself. I mean I used to like $hort Dawg, but I don't like the Hyphy shit now. So Keak, etc is out for me. Lately I've started to appreciate Crunk a bit more though. I think Hussein Fatal is down with MF Doom. Right? Or am I confusing? And I'm shocked that Black Knights even still exist. haha.

Don't know much of the Bay Area stuff either, although I remember really liking Paris' first album. I actually preferred the West Coast stuff before it became a definable "West Coast" thing. Pre NWA stuff like World Class Wrecking Cru, Egyptian Lover, Chris Taylor, D.E.F. Once it settled more around that Chronic sound I wasn't such a fan. Although I do love individual bits of it, obviously.
I don't give a shit what anyone says, this is brilliant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAPTvVq60WY |
