I'm seeing CSS and Wu-Tang Clan tonight

...and it's the same festival that I was looking forward so much to seeing Pixies last year, but got drunk and passed out a couple of hours before the start of the set

.

I just hope it won't end up the same this year. Looking forward !

i saw the wu tang two weeks ago, they were fantastic, method man is one of the most exciting performers i've ever seen

i don't really get the whole buzz around css. i really hated it the first time i listened.

Fucking CSS didn't make it to the festival because they ate some fucking seafood in Italy and nearly all of the band got really sick (well, this is what the festival officials said).

Wu Tang were absolutely mindblowing, they had an audience of about 15.000 people and the crowd was just going crazy. They played a lot of old shit from 36 chambers too and, yeah, Method Man is the real deal, he was unstoppable.

I've seen many good other things on the festival too, like Konono no.1 (repetitive industrial tribal rythms from Kongo), Ugly Duckling (old skool!), DJ Shadow, 4walls (Phil Minton, Luc Ex and pure madness) and so on and so forth.

I love that festival oh so much.
