I bought the reissue Metal Box!

I sprung over $30 bucks for this bad boy. But i think it was well worth it. The remastering is excellent. A little clearer,edgier. The guitars are even more metallic and the bass has a more definded deep resonance. the only thing is i wish it had some info on the sessions but i guess that would runin the mystery around their whole orignal vibe. anyways, just psyched. does anyone else own?

i've been hoping they'd remaster that album for years, the CD i have sounds a bit crappy

Hey i picked that up too (stereolab's switched on vol2 also)... and I totally dig it. It's cost me $40, but I think it was a worhty purchase- I was trying to decide on that or trout mask replica, and sense I'd heard the latter, i thought I'd take the jump of mystery instead-plus it was $10 more and since I have christmas money I jumped for the more expensive one.

You can get the original metal box for not that much on ebay. My friend got a copy for £10.
