oh captain my captain! haha one of the cheesiest moments ever.
also have you noticed how women never sweat while having sex in the movies and no matter how far or fast you run, the bad guy will always be a few steps behind. can i also add bathroom mirrors as a place where bad things are seen.

At least, the characters that matter, yes. I voted for the Paris option. But this goes for every major city: The Empire State building in NYC, Big Ben in London, the Opera House in Sydney, Red Square in Moscow, and so on, and so on. Just in case we forget the setting I suppose. |

How about that whenever an English guy is shown in american film he always without fail has to have a cockney accent and a bad one at that. See oceons 11 as a reference point.

There was an interview with the main guy from manhunter on 'top gear', when asked why they English guys seem to always be villians he said it was because the americans "feel intimdated by us". Aint it the truth, sister.

The bad guys are always punished.
Even Dudley Smith dies in L.A. Confidential - the movie. |

I think Russians have been portrayed in the same light for nearly 60 years! I can't think of even ONE Russian character that has been a 'good guy'. Boris and Natasha however, are the greatest Russian characters ever. |
