Meaning that's my voice twisted beyond recognition on "Forum Decorum" (a song about a forum, doncha know). But that's all.
theprivileges.bandcamp.com/album/you-cant-even-get-the-end-of-the-world-right It's a little of everything, and I have to admit I'm having trouble digesting it all. One or two have already become favs (the last track is semi-classic), most are working on me, and at least two rank as utter shit. Interesting cover of St. James Infirmary. Good words. Certainly worth a listen, and I think worth the seven bucks I paid (and I'm on the damn thing). The main dude is pretty broke, and the others are hardly affluent, so I felt pretty good about my purchase. It's probably their fault they're so broke, but still . . . I wonder what everyone will make of this. |

You ignored the album,
now ignore the book! The bassist wrote and published this: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/239317 Haven't read it yet, but it can't suck too bad. Plus it's free. |

Funnily enough, I make my own music. But I'm uncomfortable putting it into the world.
Anyway, my little city's having a film fest. http://cantonfilm.com/ I hope I'll be able to report back on some exciting, raw talent. |

Jesus fuck, this guy won't quit. A balls-out version of "If I Had a Hammer:"
http://soundcloud.com/matthew-z/hammer C'mon people. Don't any of you have friends who make cool shit? Hip me to your poet pal, the weirdo down the block who makes art out of disused metal, that ex-girlfriend who is starting something she's calling "menstrual rock." |

"Get With the Sickness" should be a hit. Are these guys fun in "real life" or total assholes? |

Nope. I just kept wondering: Why on earth do so damn many amateur filmmakers insist on making pointless horror films? |

cuz they are easy. horror films need no plot, or at least, bad horror films need no plot. Hell, even good ones! Look at evil dead 2, the plot can be described and laid out in less than a paragraph!

Evil threatens protagonist. Evil wins or not. The end.
Gotcha. Anyway, this free e-book amused me: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/245609 |
