I have no balance. Otherwise I would pick up skateboarding no problem.

That video is so good. Arto Saari's and AVE's parts are the shit. But yeah, I have a alien deck right now with independent trucks and 51mm spitfire wheels. I want bigger wheels though maybe 53-55mm. |

Dude, it takes time to get your balance on a skateboard. Nobody gets on their first time and can ride perfectly. You'll get more comfortable with time. |

Was that the vid where j mascis does a couple of tricks? I remember really enjoying that. Skateboarding was my life from around 12-16 but after really damaging my ankles a few times I lost patience re-learning stuff. At uni I live pretty close to a nice skatepark so I've been out a few times at like 5 in the morning after a night of excess. I just take it easy though and try to enjoy it. I think downhill mountain biking has filled the void left from skating. I recently spent a chunk on a new bike and it makes it insane. |

I haven't been able to skate a lot the past months but summer's coming up so I'll finally have time again to cruise around. Leo is the definition of STYLE

What other recent videos did you like? On another note, everyone was talking about Templeton in the other thread. Mark Gonzales is the best ever in my opinion. |

Well Transworld's "And now" is really great. It's got some of the sickest lines ever. Plus all the skaters in the vid were am's (or atleast that's what I think) and that baffles me even more!

Ed's getting old so it's probably pretty natural that he's not that good anymore. But still he can skate good for being such an old fart!

Gonz has aged well too. He's still awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHXZJSAFd-0 Mullen is unmatched as a technical skater. I just don't really enjoy him much though. Gonz just makes me want to go out and skate. He's so fucking creative and can skate anything. He's also got the best style ever in my opinion. |

after picking the gravel out of my shoulder from a gnarly downhill bailout, I snapped my Zorlac - Craig Johnson deck in two and never looked back.

skateboarding is awesome but i don't get to do it much, very long winter in canada and then when i leave in the summer time it's a pain to take a skateboard and the sidewalks usually turn out to FUBAR anyways
