i use my i river to record with for my band, and it gives out pretty decent quality.

sorry - 24 is the bit rate and 96 which is 96khz is how many samples per second, the ipods can be hacked to record at these levels not sure about the zen. the ipod before hacked is only the equivalent of a telephone mic and speaker. the more khz sample per second and the higher the bit rate the better sound reproduction you can get. some new high end equpiment por studio wise is in the realms of 2.4 ghz which is getting closer and closer to analog repro. |
