when I listen to Lee's songs, I've always loved listening to the lead guitar part (or the less rhythm based guitar part of the two if you will.) and pictured thurston fucking around on the guitar and having a blast rocking free of the microphone.
but then you realise Lee is playing the lead part, and singing at the same time. I mean that Karen Revisted part is pretty off kilter with the singing and the Skip Tracer riff is probably a handful too. hats off to Lee! |

road movies is a book of poetry it sucks i tried to buy a first edition of it from the systore but they are all sold out

I LOVE LEE!, he's great!, Karen Revisited is my favorite song from Murray Street as is Paper Cup Exit on Sonic Nurse.

Thurston plays the main riff on 'Skip Tracer'.
But yeah, Road Movies is a must-have. I've read it at least 10 times and I've given it to people as a gift a few times. |
