These are so fine.
bout the only shoes I wear these days are my Borns. Got this the other day. My other main shoe is a slightly dressier Born brown oxford. This one is almost as comfortable as a pair of slippers or old broken-in running shoes. Mine are chocolate suede like this but not with the blue stitching--that's weird. Mine has brown stitching, which looks much classier. Oh these are nice--my feet are happy! I also bought some old-school-style green-suede Pumas. |

I bought a pair of used black boots. It wasn't until I brought them home that I noticed the previous owner had written "DEATH" on the bottom of one.

after 1/2 a year boots are dirty and you have to buy a new pair of shiny leader boots.

I bought a pair of low top, black on black, Chuck Taylors from a dude on craigslist. when I went to pick them up he was in an un-air conditioned house, an empty house save for a couch near the front room where boxes of chuck taylors were sitting, and he tried to sell me some different kinds and I got my pair and took off
thes shits is "hot"!

I find converse are stylish, but they continuously rip on me. It's times in the moshpit that they get pretty bad. My next pair will probably be wallabes or a neater looking shoe.

Must be what all the kids are wearing these days. While I was deliberating over which Borns to buy the other day, a mom and her teenager came into the store and bought a pair of these in like 2 minutes. |

erin and i both work for shoe companies in boston and frequently get new shoes for free or dirt cheap. its kind of ridiculous, but in the last 6 months i have gotten a pair of earth shoes (the company i work for), 2 pairs of clarks - a uk moccassin & a pair of wallabees, a pair of sauconys for the gym replaced last night by a pair of 587 new balances thanks to erin's job. i also have a pair of medium shoes that i got from urban outfitters for 5 bucks... however my everyday go-to shoes are a pair of clark's desert treks that are beat down to perfection...

oh yeah, I like those Clark desert treks, too. Used to own a pair way back when and I loved them. Have to keep em in mind on my next shoe-buying expedition (about once a year).

I like my Converse, too, but it's true, they don't hold up well. I save em mostly for summer and early fall. And I don't wear em if I have to do a lot of pavement walking--not much cushion. |
