Today's pet peeve

Yeah, I'm a cranky old man. Here's what's making me cranky today.

1. People who call LPs "vinyls." Vinyls! Plural, even. They might get away with if they just said vinyl, which I can almost tolerate, but VINYLS?! Arrggggghhhh!

2. People who call turntables "record players." Record players? Come on. Jesus. record players are those plastic Fisher-Price toys with darning needles for styli.

If you happen to use these terms yourself and I like you, you're forgiven. But please watch it, okay?
