From Lee:
Sort Sol drummer Tomas Ortved joins Dust Scandinavian Tour Steve Shelley had a medical situation which has prevented him from joining The Dust on their Scandinavian tour. He is replaced for the tour by legendary Danish band Sort Sol’s drummer Tomas Ortved. Speedy recovery Steve! |

Yeah! Gig was very enjoyable and Tomas did his job suprisingly well. It's not so easy to jump in the band when there's no time to rehearse. Bassist Tim Lüntzel guided Tomas through the most difficult parts. Highlights were gig starter Lecce/Leaving, The Rising Tide, noisy version of Hammer Blows and a little bit up tempo version of Waiting On A Dream. |

Do they ever play anything off side 2 of the first album? (Not complaining, just curious!)

Well, I would have liked to hear Shouts and/or Tomorrow Never comes, but really didn´t miss those three other side 2 songs...

I think Fire Island is one of the best songs on that album. I also like Stranded very much. On the other hand, Shouts and Lost are weakest songs on Between the Tides and the Tides. A side is definitely stronger than B side but whole album is fairly good. |
