In the Kingdom #19 can't be matched. Evol is like Unknown PLeasures.. the production is just as good as the songs so they all add up to one. to pick one would be like picking a favorite child.

If I had to place the songs into a ranking list of my personal taste (signed grammar cunt) then it would be summit like: Greenlight, Tom V, Shadow and xpress. The rest can do one innit.

This is impossible to decide. Bubblegum is the worst though and Xpressway is sort of overrated (but still very good)

Surely 'Expressway...' is overrated but has become iconic through the years due to live perfomances, we can say it's the first song they used to make long-bizarre improvisations live and that's been a singularity in their forthcoming career as a rock band... well, not the first ('Satan Is Boring' was crazy live for example) but the first staple in their setlists or the first commercial one... you know what I mean

I would not say "Expressway" is overrated but I think all of the other songs on EVOL get overlooked because of that one song. Personally I love "Tom Violence" almost as much if not more than "Expressway" but "Tom Violence" is one of their greatest opening songs on an album and "Expressway" is one of their greatest album closers.

Well for example in music I don´t like mediocre music. and to me it means music that has made a lot (just haven´t got enough time to listen all the music that´s ok), also music that didn´t cause me strong feelings. In SY music I like the most their sad melodies. It´s bit hard to understand why someone not like Marilyn Moore, if he likes Secret Girl (both are quite melodic songs). But I wasn´t upset about your opinion, just interest why you don´t like those songs.

And you´re right, sometimes I can´t explain why I like some music and some not. And even I should like some music (for example most SY fans like it) I just can´t like it if I don´t like it.
