Insipid tripe.
Wow, that was a swiftly concluded discussion, thanks.

Badalamenti is excellent. My wife has a stack of his recordings. Tons of great, moody, often sexy stuff.

he's awesome, too bad he often partakes in doing soundtracks for shitty films besides lynch ones... i mean, come on, cabin fever?!

The Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive soundtracks are some of the best I've heard.
Though my favourite film soundtrack is Cronenberg's Crash, love the intertwining guitar thing! |

Yeah, his soundtracks are very simple but so effective for Cronenberg's movies. I mean, I can replicate the exact sound from the Videodrome soundtrack with my keyboard, but I still love it.

twin peaks is his undisputed best work. i remember when bob is traveling as the owl and flys toward the screen with those wild evil eyes, and the music was perfect, just scary as fuck. what happened between lynch and angelo? did they have a falling out? inland empire could have used some better music.
