Lee's recent interview reminiscing about "Visions of Johanna" reminded me of his own excellent recording of it, which I dug out and listened to a few times. It occurred me to that I wasn't sure who the band was for this track, so I hopped over to discogs and was surprised to see this all-star line-up:
Bass – Mike Watt Drums – Steve Shelley Guitar – Lee Ranaldo, Robert Quine Keyboards – Anthony Coleman Crazy! Here's a youtube link if you have eight minutes to treat your ears...
