Its a beautiful day outside, it is sunny there are cool breezes, people shopping, planning BBQs, sun bathing, gardening, relaxing, washing their cars, going places on trains o busses, spending their money.
And i am at home, confined to my bedroom to do endless homework, homework that never seems to get done, homework that seems completely pointless on a day like today. And i cant go outside, i have to sit in front of the computer and do endless homework. And not just today, all this week. And i want to go outsiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!! |

Rapunzel always reminds me of this Beastie Boys lyric:
"Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair So I can climb up and get into your underwear" For that lyric alone, they should be forever ignored by the record-buying public. |

That's lifted from a Baby Jane Holzer 60's single, actually, and I'm not even sure if her version is the original one. I apologize if I'm coming accross as anal on this thread. |

BABY JANE HOLZER - RAPUNZEL
Jane Holzer (the former Jane Brookenfeld) came into Warhol’s orbit in the summer of 1963, at the point she was becoming known in the fashion world as 'Baby Jane Holzer.' In 1964 Tom Wolfe enshrined her as 'The Girl of the Year,' and she became emblematic of the swinging Sixties. She appeared in Andy Warhol's films 'Kiss', 'Screen Test', 'Couch', and 'Camp'. She recorded this single circa 1965. http://thecyberthief.blogspot.com/20...-rapunzel.html |

Yeah I had to do alot of that for music. I did a big Avant-Garde noisy, expressionist piece so it was easy to waffle on about.

the iconic images of suburbian youth thing?
You should post them all up on the board. I always been artistically fasinated with GenX americana. The music im writing for my band is along the same lines. I'm gonna call it 'Radio' and record it when im uni. Been working on some sample pic for the inside of the record too.

Hahaha theres a still from 1979, Cinderella's Big Score video, im sure there is some Gus Vant Sant and Harmony Korine in there somewhere too.
Its really good. All my Photography is done at night or when the sun is setting or rising. The yellowish tone is interesting because I always associate teenagehood and alternative culture with night time. They all have a really great feel about them. Well done..

yo, go outside, fuck homework! you can work at night, can't you? another option would be to plant an umbrella & drag the computer out of the house. but that is never good for concentration. just go outside for a while & come back-- you'll be more productive. and hey, awesome photos-- they remind me of the look of ""buffalo 66". is it like a little parallel world you and your friends inhabit? |

I hope you finish soon! I just got this REDICULOUS assignment assigned to me today from my teacher, and if I don't do it I fail. Thing is, is that school ended nearly 2 months ago for me. And neat picture! I thought it was a movie screenshot at first because of the uniforms, you don't see them at all around here
