I've heard this song plenty of times, and recently I heard it on the radio. I'm dying to hear it again, but I'm not sure who it was done by.

All I know (it's not much):
some dude sings it, he's very mellow, he's almost talking
the chorus is just "do do do do do do..."
there's another man with a more distinct voice almost yelling something in the background throughout the song
I think it's a 90s hit, not sure though

It's sort of driving me crazy.

i always like these threads, but you need to give more info... fragments of lyrics you remember, instruments used, etc... or at least if it's a rap song or if it has guitars or whatever.

I'd say the song would fit right in with 90's alternative, but it's much softer. The guitar part is simple. I'm drawing a blank on lyrics. I do know he goes "do do do do do do." The pattern is 1 + _ + 3 + 4 _, same note I believe (maybe the fifth "do" is a step lower).

The guy yelling in the background is the most recognizable aspect, but I don't know what he's saying. He sounds tribal or something.

lol, i remember that song. it's on the cable guy sdtk i think. the guy singing has the exact same name as my dad... first and last name. i use to like that song & i hear it now... kinda lame. lol.
