I haven't had any caffeine in 4 days. Its been that many years since I've been off the shit for so long. In fact, I don't think I've ever not used caffeine for so long.
It's an experiment. I'm trying to see if it will help calm me down some. |

I'm pissed that you guys responded. That kind of behavior is just gonna keep this thread on the front page.

I already did a little song like this on a "World looks red live at urban outfitters" thread. I think mine's damn good as a parody, but yours is an original piece right? I really dig it. Funny shit. Love the "supercool" part -- total Thurston sass.
Noisereduction, if you're kidding, ha ha. If you're being serious, fuck you. Repped. |

Okay, for the sake of a comprehensive "starbucks sonic youth song" post, I'll repost that post...
http://www.sonicyouth.com/gossip/sho...ban+outfitters That's really odd, when I watched this I >did< notice rather grotesque lyrics.. I couldn't completely make them out over the screaming Urban Outfitters crowd, but it was something to the effect of: Put it in my pocket - World looks green I've got dollar signs - In my eyes Ride in my Cadilac - Drinkin the Starbucks Selling no wave pop - To the mainstream Kicking out Jim O'Rourke - For being too ugly An ocean of idiotic - Sonic Youth fans Buying our albums - Seeing us live Even after we play for - their hipster little sisters - at Urban Outfitters Crazy. Sonic Geezers still got a bit of sass, I guess! Also, I find it funny that Pitchfork said "the frequently overlooked Rather Ripped". Just sayin'. |

I'm glad I wasn't the only only one who didn't catch that at first. Strangely, I just finished listening to "Starpower" on my way back from the gym, and reread the post just now. "Oh fuck. Duh!" x2

That's so bloody awesome. Does Lee imitate the sound of a frappuccino blender with his guitar at any point?
