not really.. i mean shit that uses big old sheets of metal that resonate at different frequencies or machines that spin and sing... yer singing metal rather than percussive if that makes sense... i found something on a blog once but the dl had expired : ( ... why dont you make your own samples? if just come up from the basement after hitting bits of metal for an hour or so... fun

Seems like nurse with wound and cold have things like this on some album(s). Honestly can't help ya since EN is the first thing I thought of too. Hmmm... very interesting to hear some stuff like this...

This cute 3" cd, released through Metamkine's esteemed 'Cinema Pour L'Oreille' series of electro-acoustics and musique concrete, contains one track, "Mantra", which opens with a trio of motors starting up and emitting a gentle purr. As these engines warm up and shift through various perfunctory cycles, a wide spectrum of metallic vibrations slowly spins through the stereo field. While it would be nice to believe that these movements coincide with a Zamboni circling a really nice binaural microphone, it's more likely that Laporte exercised his artistic license with a judicious use of crossfading and stereo panning upon his field recordings. As the disc draws near its end, it sounds as if a screw or bolt is loosened by the vibrations and two pieces of metal begin a clamorous bell-ringing arrhythmia. thanks kid... yer thats definitely along the lines of what im looking for... however the musician is still very active in the performance of it... im really interested humming/whirring machines, things resonating in wind, music created with pendulums etc...
