I am missing drivin around and listening to music really loud in my beloved cars. no matter what kind of weather it was always appealing. since I am a student I cant afford a car anymore (insurance and tax are pretty high in germany and you have to check it every two years, and if theres anything not fully correct you cant drive that thing anymore, so you always need to keep it completely safe, wich sucks money too) since then I am driving this, its fun but it sucks in winter:

(not an picture of my actual car, but it's 100% the same)
2007 Mercury Milan. I've had it about a month. My other car was giving out on me.

This is from google, but it's more or less it. It has a spoiler on the back, too (which was there when I got it used). It was about $8,000 with 70,000 miles on it. Great buy.

Pretty much it, except my hood is starting to lose some paint, and I don't think my car was ever parked in front of a cool little New England town by the river.

I'm sure more expensive than in Germany, but they're not too bad.

yeah they are kinda not the "volkwagen" anymore. volkswagen in german means "the car for the people" or something similar
but I prefer Audis over them (even if they fusioned decades ago) |

I'm kicking my ass because I can't drive a 5 speed because there was a 2006 BMW with a 5 speed for the same price as the Milan. I was hoping slightly used BMWs were going to be cheaper here because where I'm living at the moment has the highest concentration of BMWs in the US.

I owned this type of car in the very early 90's (Peugeot 305 Estate) - me and my mates used to call it The Hearse:
