one of my friends has worked in telemarketing on and off for a few years, but she mostly does inbound, and was one of the 'nice' ones. She used to just chat a lot and trade random items for account credits. T shirts, dvd's, music, etc.

Please share some of your ways of being assholes to them. I've done all kinds of things, like pretend I'm retarded or drunk or insane. I've even done things like ask them if they've ever had to cover up a murder scene and if they knew who I could call to get blood stains out of the curtains. Things like that.

i usually just tell them to take me out of their calling list. seems to have diminished the number of calls greatly.

when it's robocalls, i punch any button and to get to talk to someone and tell them to fuck off, etc.

once i got a robocall from the repuke party and held on to it to feed them false information. may they eat shit and die.

I used to be such a mild-mannered sort of guy (ala Clark Kent).

But now with fucking telemarketers that tell you off for 'wasting their time' when you politely say 'No' after their 15 minute sales pitch, and cunts off the street trying to guilt you into making a monthly contribution to their 'Save the Children' charity* and even the damn Jehovahs have started knocking on my door.....

No wonder I've turned into such an asshole and started telling everyone to fuck orf!

*I already give a monthly donation to Greenpeace, WSPA and Oxfam. The "Save the children" foundation can fuck off (and the children too for that matter) - see told ya I'm an asshole now...
