I ate meat today and then realised my mistake- now I feel guilty.
On a lighter note, I am just coming to the end of week one of my two week Easter break, and so far it's been boss. This morning I woke up amongst the wreckage of a party on the other side of a city, and the long bus ride home along the riverside road w/ The Kinks on the big headphones was the chillest thing ever. GOOD TIMES ROB, THEY NEVER END! |

Don't feel bad. The meat thing is purely tradition, so even if there were a hell, you couldn't really go there for that.
Easter in itself is a purely pagan holiday to worship the fertility goddess named Eastre (which makes sense, since rabbits and eggs are more easily associated with fertility than they are Jesus). It wasn't until false Christians decided they could use all that sweet pagan money that they made it a "Christian" holiday, because hey, if those pagans are going to do this anyway, might as well let them do it in our church and make them pay a tithe, right?

Ahah I know, just sometimes I wish I had some insight and self-restraint. I forget every Friday, every week. I just remember my great grandmother rigidly following the tradition and I always feel like I'm letting her down or something. |
