Haha, this video just reminds me of how much of a stupid drummer Lars is.
Kid's good though, his Who video is alot more fun.

I dunno, it sounded like he dropped the beat a little around the first (sung) chorus...
But still, any 4 year old who can keep a beat, let alone play along to a Metallica song is pretty impressive. In all honesty, though, prodigys like him have always existed...we're just more aware of them now, with stuff like YouTube and all. And agree about Lars. The man's in his 40s, but he still plays the drums like a teenager with something to prove. "BANG BANG BANG I'm Lars Ulrich!! BUM BUM BUM BUM Look how tough I am!! CRASH CLATTER I'm in Metallica, dammit!!!"

that's why they all play metallica cause the music is so easy. Still though at 4 years old the kid is amazing. I had a friend who was a prodigy on the violin he came to this country at 12 years old and never went anywhere with his playing went to school took accounting ended up a bank president. I played some more of those kids the 6 year old girl pianist and the 8 yr old kid playing blues guitar are the ones that blew me away like the 4 year old drummer....

I watched a programme on tv years ago which featured a kid who was a whizz on the electric guitar. He wowed the metalheads who surrounded him with his fretwankery. The kid was never heard of again. It's clear he was simply an amusing curio which the producers thought would be great to fill the last 5 minutes of their show with. It's the same with the drummer.

That video is so cool. Those pictures of him with Kiss are pretty awesome, too. It'll be interesting to see if this kid stays passionate about drumming his whole life, or just kinda gets bored with it and moves on to other stuff.
