Who somehow manages to nail every film that comes out in major cinemas.
The guy is a freakish movie encyclopedia, and what's more bitchin' than a PhD in horror fiction? Are you waiting for something witty or erudite to follow? That's all I've got. The mindless trumpeting of an opinion no one else could really give a shit about. Stop reading. I wasn't joking. That really was it. Are you still reading this? Christ, are you an optimist. Now you're just pathetic. Shoo! |

Amazing, that that post was even drier than mine.
Kudos. |

He's OK but he loves The Exorcist way too much. His interview with Werner Herzog was one of the best things on the BBC in the last 10 years but that was more down to Herzog.

I saw him waiting for a train with his son at Woking railway station on my way home from work a few weeks ago. Just thought I'd mention it.

hm... i hadn't heard of him. a google turned out some interesting results. the fact that he hates star wars movies and panned elizabethtown (puke of pukes) is a plus in my book. the exorcist was awesome btw, i've freeze- framed on that spurt of projectile vomit hundreds of times. not sure if it's the best movie of all times, for my taste, but hell yes, i'll listen to the guy.

i'm surprised that anyone outside the uk knows who he is, yet not suprised that it's truncated who knows of him. props to kermode, during my teenage years his radio slots informed me of films i would never have watched otherwise, and double props for his love of the exorcist (possibley my favourite film), although i have yet to read his book on it.

A PhD in horror fiction. That's incredible. And he likes Bananarama. Thanks for sharing...
