I'm quoting David Letterman from tonight's show which will feature a musical performance from Jerry Lee Lewis with Neil Young.
Lewis has a duets cd out that has garnered good reviews. I haven't heard any of it yet. It'll be Young's first time on Letterman's program.

No, I hadn't noticed that yet. I didn't figure it would last too long.

It would be an interesting legal battle, unfortunately the guys running that site and the ones like it don't have the financial resources to go head to head with Fox.

I like Young Neil well enough, and On the Beach is one of my favorite albums from the 70s. But I'm a little tired of him.

Harvest is one of my favorite albums ever. Rust Never Sleeps and After The Gold Rush a good listens also.
Jerry Lee doesn't have much of voice anymore. But he jammed good back in his day |

harvest is beautiful if you are blissed out or sad on a quiet day and you are laying there, same for harvest moon.
I love the song Like A Hurricane. It makes my cock-veins tremble.

I actually though the opposite, that in 50 years his voice doesn't sound deteriorated very much. I'd expect him to sound like Tom Waits by now. |

Maybe it's just cuz Harvest was/is overplayed. Needle and the Damage, etc., on the radio ad nauseum. I have it on CD but I could never stand to listen to it more than about once. Just too familiar.
