I picked up this copy of Kill Yr Idols at a record store for $20, and it's the weirdest thing ever:
The front and back cover design is the same, but in black/green on white. The record is a marbleized white with "Side A" and "Side B" subtley etched into the deadwax. I can't seem to find any information on it whatsoever. What have I found?? |

I thought bootleg versions of LPs were kind of common to find on HeGay? See what normally happens with bands like Chrome and their LPs.

If it were a bootleg though, wouldn't it try to mimic the original as closely as possible? If seems weird that anyone would put this much effort into a fake THIS obvious...
I'll put up photos of the back-cover and of the record and of my face later for you women-folk |

Believe it or not, collector scum are prepared to shell out for obviously fake versions of certain LPs, no matter how bad the pressing is or the differences in the artwork. |

Weeeeirdddd.... Yeah, there's a Discogs entry for it now I see. It's unofficial but managed to make it into record stores all over the place. I wonder if SY is cool with it....
