So now that our society is reduced to factory farmed human commodities drowning the sorrows of their impoverished isolated lives in front of screens for 72 hours in a row shovelling junk food in their mouths and developing serious back problems, what tv shows do you like to binge watch?
The ones everyone knows: The Wire Breaking Bad True Blood Sopranos Battlestar Galactica Homeland Dexter Walking Dead Mad Men What else is good? |

Only shows I have binge watched.
Deep Space 9 Mad Men Breaking Bad Game of Thrones I argue with my wife about this all the time. I actually prefer to watch an episode and then let time pass, to absorb it, and to ruminate on it, and then watch another episode. watching shows back to back to back, even great shows, tends to blur the story arc in ways I do not like. All TV is episodic, some more than others, but this "break" between episodes I think makes the shows better.

Of the comedy shows I re-watch often Alan Partridge's Knowing Me Knowing You takes the top spot. I wouldn't say I watch that much TV though. Even with films I'll go through phases of watching tons and then nothing for a while or just 1 or 2 in a month. |

noted.
(ill keep editing previous post). i dont watch the telly either, but i do spend tons of hours on series and although i feel bad about it -should watch interesting and inspiring movies instead- i m a lazy bastard and dont do much to fix this. lately im binge (binge-binge-binge!) watching big bang theory on the side, because it makes me laugh and it relaxes me before i go to sleep. also cant wait to watch arrested development 4. hope its brilliant as the previous seasons. |
