Seeing the Residents Sunday and publishing an article in a local magazine. I'm pretty psyched I'll post it here when it's done.
Polysics Tuesday.

"what the fuck?" good or bad? If I saw the Residents and didn't think "What the fuck?" I'd be disappointed.

i'm seeing them feb. 9th. can't wait.
i have to say, judging from the setlists, what i've read, and the videos i've seen, this tour looks pretty damn morbid. i hope i don't end up slitting my wrists after they do "the old woman." |

dunno how i never saw this before
have seen polysics and residents -- drove SIX HOURS to see polysics play for 20 minutes, and it was the 3rd best band i've ever seen live (melt banana and shellac would be my first two) as for residents.. wow. only drove 3 hours for that, and i would have driven 3 times as far. just fucking unbelievable. changed my life. something was definitely missing without snakefinger.. the early fire/energy of their early stuff.. but it was still amazing.. mostly theatrical.. mindboggling. |

i've seen them twice now - once on the bunny boy tour and this past year on the talking light tour. thought the bunny boy tour was a lot better since the concept was much better executed and the album was fucking great, but the talking light show was a lot of fun too. hope they come back here very soon.
