entertaining interview! i can't believe its been 3 years since that killer major stars/six organs electric show at mid east up ... did major stars get a new singer though? i don't recognize the girl and i haven't seen them in over a year ...

yeah sandra left. the new singer debuted @ last year's Brainwaves fest.

did you also the Major Stars/Comets on Fire show @ ME down? that was shit-hot as well.

thanks for this. i wish they'd come and play some shows in the UK, watching them at atp 3 years ago was a very emotional experience for me.

how is the new singer?? i liked sandra and at the same time kind of thought her voice didn't fit. that show at mid east down with comets was FANTASTIC as well! i am trying to think the last time i saw major stars. i have strong feeling was that gig with konono no. 1 and sunburned ... i gotta get out more often!

she's pretty good. in a way her role is 2nd or maybe 3rd tier to what the band's about, so it's ok not to have a dominating presence/singer in the band.

i was @ that Konono No.1 show as well.


everytime i see Major Stars (averages 1-2 times a year) i wonder why i don't see every show they do...i always have a great time.

the new stuff they played was really good, too. looking forward to the next record.
