I have a truckload of cash after May and I wanna know what my priorities are. I have EVOL, Goo and Dirty, and I love them all dearly! I know where I can get Dead Moon for 10$, is that a good logical next step?
I hate these kindsa questions honestly. I know there's no "order" or anything, but when you're faced with a band with a nice hearty discog like SY it's nice to have some direction. Throw out some suggestions, it'd b gr8. |

If you have evol, goo and dirty, I'd reccommend getting one of the following next Daydream Nation, Sister, Confusion is Sex or Rather Ripped.

I'd personally say Sister before Bad Moon Rising but i'm sure plenty here will argue that. They're both fucking classics.

get washing machine, a thousand leaves, and dayream nation next.
Do you mean bad moon rising instead of dead moon? Because if so get off the computer and buy it now! $10 for bad moon rising is a great deal considering it's out of print.

Yeah, Sister and Daydream Nation are must haves and would also be the next logical choice since those fill in the time chrnologically between EVOL and Goo. So I would go for those.
But Rather Ripped isnt a bad choice since its the newest thing and everyone is talking about it! |

yea, it also depends on what sound you like. Do you like the raw noise of EVOL? If so go for any of the pre-geffen releases (Daydream Nation, Sister, Bad Moon Rising, Confusion, EP).
Or do you like more of the pop sound of Goo and Dirty? Then go for pretty much anything released after those... |

Get Daydream Nation and Washing Machine next for sure. I have yet to get Bad Moon Rising, EVOL, Experimental Jet Set, A Thousand Leaves, NYC Ghosts & Flowers, or Sonic Nurse, but I have all the other ones (hehe.. wow, it sounds like I'm missing a lot, but SY have such a vast discography that I have more than I'm missing, since I have a few SYRs), and those 2 are definitely the best out of what I have.
By the way, what should I go for next? I was thinking of Bad Moon Rising, since Death Valley '69 kicks so much ass... |

I'll prolly get Sister, then Daydream. I actually really like both the noisy stuff and the more structured stuff they do. Since I have 2 poppy ones, I should balance it out with an earlier crazy record eh.

My personal favourite is Washing Machine, get that if you see it. You can't go wrong with Sister though. And thanks, I think I'm going to get Bad Moon Rising next week... should of got it today when I got RR.
