Sorry, too much chaos with the way the last dj left the cd players programmed to get back here and look for live requests. I'm not adverse to doing that though, given the time to pull it off. I just didn't get to check here until the show was over. Lots of little fuck ups due to having discs set to start automatically, but nothing so severe as to trash the show. I want to kill the guy on last night though.
I'll post the playlist later. No Tape Beatles this week, though I do love them. Not sure what you heard that made you think that, but the list will be up this afternoon sometime when I get home. Up against the parking meter right now though... |

The track I thought to be Tape Beatles had a clip of a shortwave number station, and some drone going on. Not sure what it was after seeing the playlist either. Sounded more like something Public Works has done anyway, or a piece from the PhonoStatic series.
Good show! |

That would be: F. J. Pangolin - "The Maidenhead Graph" - MP3 - indie Actually, that's my friend John from Tacoma (I hyperlinked it to his My Space page). There's a really cool experimental music scene cropping up around there, quite connected to the Portland one. I'm glad I played something that really made you ask "What's This Called?" as that's the whole point of the show! Thanks for listening! |
