Who keeps one? I decided to start one to record all my thoughts even the ones that I want to not know about. Well...

I used to write in one everyday, I have like 10 of them filled up.
Not as much anymore though, sometimes I write down random thoughts, things that happened, draw pictures, whatever. I do it mostly when I really can't sleep.

Journals and diaries are things that I tend to receive as gifts all the time, despite the fact that I've never actually written in one.

I have one that I only use when something important happens, or when I think I've thought of something profound. Which it never really is.
I like the idea of just writing, period - not necessary recording my thoughts. Journals can be a good way to get some of that in. I never reread past entries. I'm afraid to. Who knows what I thought back then... |

i have so many old journals. i once wrote this 40-page entry that i wrote as i sat for hours, and it got tossed out. i blog here and there, but whenever i try to start a journal now i just give up after a day or two.

take a notebook with me when i go away or on long journeys most of the time. i dont tend to write linear stuff though, its generally not about the place i am visitng or my day. its more just randome writing from inspiration from what i see on the journeys etc.

I have a notebook I write in, but it's not a steady, everyday thing.
